I am working on a "digital marketing service" website. I want to create forum backlinks. Can I create forum backlinks for this type of website? If yes, then what is the possible strategy.

Forums are great ways to learn more, clear doubts and you can also create backlinks.
Just make sure you don't spam. Rather using content links that are helpful for the people in the forum. Then everyone will support you.
You can place links like the following example:
- Direct link: moz.com
- Using anchors: <a href="https://moz.com">Moz Website</a>
In the second option above the tag will hide if HTML is allowed then only the text will be shown. Else the first choice is preferable.

How to get rid of bad backlinks
So I noticed my rankings going down and spam score going up. So under my spam score there are over 100 links for different websites but ALL redirect to semalt.com I researched it and it says they hijacked a bunched of backlinks but don't know much more. How can I get rid of all those backlinks? I was told I could use the disavow tool but apparently that can hurt my ranking as well. The semalt.com site has no backlink to me - it looks like the pages that have/had my backlinks, they've redirected to them. Unsolved Concerned
I'm new to MOZ and thought I'd try it out free for 30 days, knuckle down and fix any issues with my website since I only set it up in January and want to keep it in tip top condition and try to get it ranking. Well, I made my way through each page and fixed everything and then I come to in the inbound links/domains and my eyes turn into saucers and I almost fall off my chair. I have 1 inbound link with a spam score of 78% from a site named "Nitter". How on earth do I get rid of this and what the heck is "Nitter"?!

Linking Domain vs Domain authority : Do they related!!!? (Case study)

I just came across a website which I'm working on. As we know DA & PA directly related to each other. I'm building organic links through last year and the result is so odd !
As you see in Pic 1, number of linking domains is naturally increasing. But in Pic 2 DA gets negative impact through this process and decreases!
How are they related anyway? Can anyone helps?

Is there a way to easily add "domain:" in front of an entire list of domains you want to disavow?
I'm submitting some disavow reports for clients. As most of you likely know you can either disavow a URL or a domain. So, to disavow a url, you would enter into the text file: http://www.example.com/this_page.html and to disavow the entire domain you would enter: domain:example.com I find that in most cases you would want to disavow the domain. For example, if there is a backlink on www.exampledirectory.com/health/page24/, by the time Google goes to disavow that link it may be on page 25. However, it is super time consuming to take my list of urls from a spreadsheet and type, "domain:" in front and also remove the http://www. Is there a way this can be done programatically?
